LAW AND PROMISE

Promise as applicable to Scout/Guides.

"On my honour I promise that I will do my best -
 to do my duty to God and my country,
to help other people and
 to obey the Scout/Guide Law."

स्काउट गाइड प्रतिज्ञा 

मैं मर्यादापूर्वक प्रतिज्ञा करता/करती हूँ कि मैं यथा शक्ति ईश्वर और अपने देश के प्रति अपने कर्तव्य का पालन करूंगा/करूंगी, सदा दूसरों की सहायता करूंगा/करूंगी तथा स्काउट/गाइड नियम का पालन करूंगा/करूंगी। 

The Law.
The Law for the Scout and Guide is:

A Scout /Guide is trustworthy.
A Scout /Guide is loyal.
A Scout / Guide is Friend to all and brother/Sister to every other Scout/Guide.
A Scout / Guide is courteous.
A Scout / Guide is friend to animals and loves nature.
A Scout / Guide is disciplined and helps protect public property.
A Scout / Guide is courageous.
A Scout / Guide is thrifty.
A Scout / Guide is pure in thought, word and deed. 

स्काउट गाइड नियम 

स्काउट/गाइड विश्वसनीय होता/होती है। 
स्काउट/गाइड वफादार होता/होती है।
स्काउट/गाइड सबका/सबकी मित्र होता/होती है एवं प्रत्येक दूसरे स्काउट/गाइड का भाई/बहिन होता/होती है। 
स्काउट/गाइड विनम्र होता/होती है।
स्काउट/गाइड पशु/पक्षियों का मित्र एवं प्रकृति प्रेमी होता/होती है।
स्काउट/गाइड अनुशासनशील होता/होती है और सार्वजानिक संपत्ति की रक्षा करने में सहायता करता/करती हैं। 
स्काउट/गाइड साहसी होता/होती है।
स्काउट/गाइड मितव्ययी होता/होती है।
स्काउट/गाइड मन, वचन और कर्म से शुद्ध होता/होती है।

" I Promise to do my best

to keep the cub / Bulbul  law and
to do a Good turn every day

A Cub / Bulbul gives into the elders.
A Cub / Bulbul is clean and courteous.
